Traits

Wild (Common)

Your normal and average wild Pokemon.

May vary slightly in size and color from their canonical design, and they may optionally include some patterning (patches, stripes) but this may only cover a small amount of their body.

Likewise, Wild is overridden & replaced by any other trait, it acts as a placeholder.
If all traits are deleted from a slot, the Pokemon will receive the Wild trait.

Polychrome

Polychrome (Uncommon)

An extension of regular "Shinies", Pokemon with the Polychrome trait can be any color and feature any kind of patterning that don't normally occur in their species.

This can either be their canonical shiny colors, or a different palette altogether!
Additionally, Pokemon with the Polychrome trait may have small spots/patches of constantly shifting colors.

Hybrid (Uncommon)

A fusion of up to 3 Pokemon.

The order in which they are displayed isn't important, you can choose as many or as little traits from each as you wish, and you may use any of the three as the "base"

Domestic (Uncommon)

A modification of the Pokemon's original species or breed, cannot be used to turn Pokemon into wildly different species, must be adjacent to their canonical one.

For example; A yamper could be turned into a poodle, or a Pikachu could be turned into a gerbil!

For mythological creatures or Pokemon that aren't based on (real) animals, try to find real life creatures/plants that are/look similar enough, you're free to take some creative liberties with this.

Regal (Uncommon)

Allows you to adorn your Pokemon with horns, hooves, scales or other keratinous growths!

Elemental

Elemental (Rare)

Modifies the typing of your Pokemon, may be applied up to three times.

This can either change or add on to a Pokemon's original typing, you can choose!
However, a Pokemon can only have a maximum of 3 types, meaning triple elementals must replace their original typing (unless one of the Elemental traits is the same as their original typing)

If your Elemental type rolled is the same as the Pokemon's original typing, it may be used to enhance their pre-existing type in some way.

Distortion (Rare)

Grants your Pokemon additional limbs (extra tails, heads, legs, wings, etc...) with no limit as long as those limbs already exist on the Pokemon.

Alternatively, this can be used to grant your Pokemon a limb it does not have canonically, but voids the "multiple" limbs part, and is therefore limited to only one set of that limb

Transmutation (Rare)

Changes the appearance of a Pokemon to resemble another material, such as (but not limited to): Toys, Crystal/Glass, Metal, Plush, Food, etc...

Whether this actually changes your Pokemon to that material or is purely visual is up to you!

Beast

Beast (Rare)

Changes the appearance of a Pokemon to be more feral (Jagged fur, bigger teeth & claws, etc)

Can also be used to change quadrupedal Pokemon to be bipedal and vice versa.
Please note that this trait does not allow your pokemon to switch between standing upright and on all fours at will, you have to choose one or the other

Hologram (Rare)

This trait is used to describe Pokemon who got corrupted during their transfer in and out of Arkadia's Virtual Environment in some way

This may manifest in ways such as: glitching, missing Textures, a wireframe-like appearance, and similar.
Please rest assured this is harmless to your Pokemon.

Abberation (Ultra Rare)

In very rare cases, Pokemon originating from Arkadia to look or act significantly different from their original counterparts, and/or not abide by the limitations set in place by their other traits.

Due to their rarity, Abberations are understudied, and not many concise examples can be given of what encompasses this trait as of now. This trait is used as a catch-all term for Pokemon which cannot be categorized into any other trait at the current moment.

Please note that many Abberations are similar in power to Legendary Pokemon, many of them may be aggressive. If you have seen or gotten ahold of an Abberation, please let an Arkadia Staff Member know and we will safely take care of the threat, thank you.
